Milford Place

Milford Place is located less than a half an hour’s drive from scenic ocean beaches, in the small city of Milford, DE, situated along the Mispillon River. With a population of around 11,000, the city has most of the amenities of a larger city including shopping, restaurants and medical facilities. Wheelchair accessible Abbott’s Mill Nature Center provides beautiful trails through white cedar forests and is a popular spot for local seniors. History abounds along the Mispillon Riverwalk, which was designed to preserve the seven shipyards along its trails.
